Jeremiah 29: 11-3 For I know the plans I have for you,
declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you
hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will
listen to you. You will seek me and find
me when you seek me with all your heart.
Happy New Year! We
are blessed to have another year given to us.
This is a great time to have a fresh start. Maybe God has put it on your heart that you
need to spend time seeking him. Make a commitment
to God today to spend time daily with him in prayer and reading His word. Set some time for him daily before you even
let your feet hit the floor in the morning.
There is a peace when you start your day with God. To help me make this a habit a few years ago
a friend and I decided we would hold each other accountable to spend time in
the word. It was great to have someone ask me if I had been reading the word. You will be blessed when you seek God with
all of your heart.
Please pray with me – Thank you Lord for this New Year, a fresh
start and a new chance to seek you! Help
us to start this New Year seeking you daily with prayer and reading your word.
Please soften our hearts and gently remind us to return to you and to rely on
you. Amen
