Matthew 5: 14-16 you are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it
under a bowl. Instead they put it on its
stand and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before
men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
Do you let your light shine (God’s light) in your home? Are
you joyful in front of those who you love the most; your spouse, your children,
family and friends? I believe God wants
us to be joyful in Christ. Practice
thinking positive thoughts. Ask the Holy
Spirit to guide you on this. I
personally am making it a goal this year to stop negative thinking. I want to shine “Jesus light” to people
around me. I will mess up. I have had a lot more practice thinking
negatively, but when I do mess up I hope I will catch myself and dwell on Gods
goodness and all He has, does and will do!
Let Gods light shine on those around you today. SMILE!
